Tamilvanan Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders in respect of the subject property comprised in R.S.No.53/5, Ariyankuppam Commune, Abishegapakkam Revenue, Thavalakuppam Village, and consequently, to carry out necessary corrections in the Settlement Register, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents submitted that, based on the appeal petition filed by the petitioner, the respondents have already commenced the process of enquiry. This Court is of the view that, based on the appeal petition submitted by the petitioner, which has not been enclosed along with the present Writ Petition, the respondents have already initiated the process of enquiry. In view of the same, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Writ Petition. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed.
