JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed questioning the following prayers: “(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of a writ of certiorari, quashing the impugned order dated 05.03.2020 passed by the Debts Recovery Tribunal - II, Karnataka at Bangalore on I.A.No.622/2020 in OA No.64/2020 produced at ANNEXURE - G, to the Writ Petition in so far as the Petitioners are concerned in respect of their Bank Account No.911020023777115 at Axis Bank and Account No - 840030110000132 at Bank of India. (b)Pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interests of justice and equity." 2. The writ petition is filed calling in question the order dated 05.03.2020 passed by the Debts Recovery Tribunal in I.A No.622/2020. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents that the main O.A. No.64/2020 itself is disposed of on 12.01.2026. By the order dated 05.03.2020, it is made clear that the interim order passed in I.A. No.622/2020 is made - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9495 WP No. 6679 of 2020 absolute. It is therefore submitted that the remedy available to the petitioner is to question the order passed in O.A. No.64/2020 and nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks time and submits that, the learned Senior Counsel on his behalf would address arguments. 4. When O.A. No.64/2020 is disposed of, this Court would not examine the interim order passed in I.A.No.622/2020 independently, as the same stands merged with the final order dated 12.01.2026 passed in O.A. No.64/2020. 5. In view of the disposal of the main O.A. nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. Accordingly, this is passing the following: ORDER i. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to avail the appropriate remedy in accordance with - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9495 WP No. 6679 of 2020 law, calling in question the order dated 12.01.2026 passed in O.A.
