It is the case of petitioner that his late parents purchased the land in Survey No.49/1A measuring an extent of 0.20.00 hectares, Survey No.44/1A measuring an extent of 0.24.00 hectare, Survey No.43/1 measuring an extent of 0.12.00 hectare, Survey No.50/4 measuring an extent of 0.21.00 hectare and Survey No.44/1B measuring an extent of 0.11.50 hectares. Following the demise of his mother in 2007 and his father in 2020, petitioner and respondents 2 to 6 jointly inherited and took possession of the above property. While so, respondents 2 and 4 to 6 allegedly colluded with the illicit intention of alienating the entire subject property, actively attempting to sell petitioner’s rightful undivided share without consent through illegal means. To safeguard the rights, petitioner submitted a formal objection petition to first respondent on 07.08.2025, which was officially acknowledged. Despite pending objection, private respondents are attempting to register sale deeds. Aggrieved, present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass order on the objection petition dated 07.08.2025 and to maintain status-quo and dispose the same. 3. At the outset, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that petitioner's objection petition dated 07.08.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed, within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 34038 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 4. In the meanwhile, if any document is presented for registration, petitioner shall be put on notice and heard before proceeding with the registration. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views on the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law. 5.
