Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an online application dated 29.05.2026 to conduct survey and fix boundaries for his property measuring (i) 0-3.60 Hec in Rs.No.5/1B1, (ii) 0- 17.66 Hec in RS.No.6 / 1 B2 (iii) 0-5.00 Hec in RS.No.7 /3 and (iv) 0-10.50 Hec in RS.No.7/5 Nathathahalli Village, Nallampalli Taluk, Dharmapuri District with Police Aid from the third respondent. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Mr.B.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 and submitted that the petitioner’s application dated 29.05.2026 will be considered within a period of six weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 32296 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 29.05.2026 and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the second respondent to request for police protection before the third respondent/jurisdictional police. If any such request is made, the third respondent/jurisdictional police is directed to provide an adequate police protection for conducting the survey. 6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court. 7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
