Alleging that the respondent has not complied with the orders and directions issued by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P. (S) No. 226 of 2026 dated 12.01.2026, the petitioner /complainant is before this court in this contempt petition. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the order under contempt dated 12.01.2026 passed in WPS No. 226 of 2026, the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had directed the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent and in the event of such representation being filed, the respondent was directed to decide the same expeditiously, 2 preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. He further submitted that the representation of the petitioner has not been decided in accordance with the law laid down by the Supreme Court in the case of Ajay Kumar Choudhary Vs. Union of India, through its Secretary & Another 1 , rather suspension period of petitioner has been extended by the respondent without any reason. 3. In reply, learned counsel for the respondent/contemner, on instructions, would submit that fresh representation filed by the petitioner has been decided vide order dated 02.02.2026 (Annexure C-3) and suspension period of petitioner has been extended, thus, the order under contempt has been complied with. 4. Heard counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Having considered the contention putforth by counsel for the parties, and considering the order dated 02.02.2026 (Annexure C-3) passed by respondent authority, I do not find any reason to proceed further in the matter initiating contempt proceeding against the respondent. 6. In view of above, the contempt petition stands disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the extension of suspension period of petitioner in accordance with law. 7. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings initiated against the respondent is dropped.
