This writ petition has been filed by petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent-District Magistrate Haridwar to consider and decide the application dated 29.06.2022 filed by petitioner for grant of Arms License of pistol/revolver. 4. It is the contention of learned Counsel for petitioner that petitioner is a farmer and a practicing advocate who moved the application on 29.06.2022 before the respondent-District Magistrate for grant of Arms License of pistol/revolver. The number of application is ‘2009’ dated 29.06.2022. Petitioner seeks a direction to be issued to the respondent –District Magistrate, Haridwar to consider and decide the said application within a stipulated period. 5. To this, there is no opposition from the side of the State. 6. The prayer made is innocuous in nature. 7. The writ petition is, therefore, allowed. A writ of mandamus is issued to the respondent-District Magistrate, Haridwar to consider and decide the Application No.2009 dated 29.06.2022 strictly in accordance with law and after considering all aspects, within a period of two months, from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 8.
