Petitioner has challenged advertisement dated 30.04.2026 issued by District Commandant (Home Guard), District Udham Singh Nagar. The sole ground of challenge is that dependants of Home Guard have been given five bonus marks, which will result in exclusion of other candidates, and all the vacancies would be filled by dependants of Home Guard alone. 4. Learned State Counsel, on instructions however, submits that the bonus marks have been given to dependents of Home Guard in terms of Government Order dated 26.07.2023, he submits that Government Order has not been challenged by the petitioner and he has simply challenged the advertisement, which is issued pursuant to Government Policy. 5. Since the Government Order has not been challenged by the petitioner, therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition, with liberty to file fresh. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
