For Petitioner: Mr. G.Mageshkumar For Respondent: Mr. M.Sivavarthanan Special Government Pleader __________ Page1 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 32718 of 2026 ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2026, wherein the petitioner sought the issuance of a patta for his Grama Natham property comprised in Survey No. 779/1 (Old Survey No. 693/1), situated at No. 103, Koovathur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, measuring an extent of 290 square metres. 2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner was rejected by the first respondent / Tahsildar vide an order dated 28.06.2026. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the said rejection order has not been served upon the petitioner till date. In view of the same, the learned Special Government Pleader is directed to serve a copy of the said rejection order on the learned counsel for the petitioner today itself. Since the petitioner’s representation dated 17.06.2026 has already been disposed of by the respondent / Tahsildar, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to challenge the said rejection order in accordance with law, if so advised.
