Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 04.12.2025 in connection with S.T. Case No. 58 of 2026 arising out of Manika P.S. Case No. 53 of 2025, registered under Section 103(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and amended section 108 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, now pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Latehar. 3. The petitioner is the husband and his wife was found dead in her matrimonial house within less than one month of marriage. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that wife of the petitioner committed suicide by hanging and there is no allegation of demand of dowry. 5. Learned counsel for the opposite party- State, on the other hand, has opposed the prayer and has submitted that the victim was found dead in her matrimonial house within less than one month of marriage. She submits that it is alleged that the petitioner was a drunkard and he used to assault the victim after consuming alcohol. 6. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the allegations made and the fact that the victim was found dead in her matrimonial house within less than one month of marriage and the petitioner is the husband, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and hence, this bail application is rejected. 2026:JHHC:11063 2 7.
