Petitioner was allotted 900 sq.ft. of land by Tamil Nady Urban Habitat Development Board vide allotment No.36199/99/E1 dated 03.02.1999 after receiving payments and petitioner constructed a building and carrying on business in the said land. Chennai Metro Rail Limited acquired the said land. Since no sale deed was executed, Chennai Metro insisted for production of either sale deed or NOC. Petitioner submitted a representation dated 16.06.2026 before respondents 1 and 2 seeking issuance of NOC to petitioner with respect to subject land. The said representation is still pending. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that first respondent vide proceedings dated 09.07.2026 has issued NOC to petitioner with respect to subject land and the same has been furnished to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

However, learned Standing Counsel appearing for Chennai Metro Rail Limited would submit that NOC that has been furnished do not contain the survey numbers and thus respondents 1 and 2 may have to clarify the same. 4.
Learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that they would issue fresh NOC to petitioner, setting out the survey numbers and containing all the particulars, required by Chennai Metro Rail Limited, within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. 5.
