For Petitioner(s): Mr. G.Anbuchezheiyan For Respondent(s): Mr. K.P.Ashok __________ Page1 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 4646 of 2026 ORDER This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the judgement and decree passed in RLTA No.100 of 2025 dated 26.03.2026 by the VII Additional District and Sessions Judge at Chennai, confirming the fair and decreetal order dated 04.07.2024 in RLTOP No.584 of 2023 passed by the XI Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai. 2. The petitioner is the tenant and aggrieved by the concurrent findings of the Rent Court as well as the Rent Tribunal, he has come before this court. 3. After being informed by this court that the petitioner has no arguable case in this civil revision petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought for time to get instructions, as to whether the petitioner would vacate the property, if reasonable time is granted. 4. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner placed an undertaking affidavit dated 18.08.2026 before this court, filed by the petitioner/tenant, undertaking to vacate the property on or before 18.02.2027. The copy of the undertaking affidavit has also been served to Mr.K.P.Ashok, learned counsel for the respondent/landlord. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 4646 of 2026 5. Recording the above undertaking affidavit, this civil revision petition is dismissed, however granting time up to 18.02.2027 to the petitioner to vacate the tenanted premises and hand over vacant possession to the respondent/landlord peacefully, without driving the respondent to forcible execution proceedings.
