This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking production of daughter of the petitioner viz., Sangeetha W/o. Muthuraja, aged about 26 years before this Court. 2. According to the petitioner, her daughter got married with one Muthuraja, however the petitioner’s daughter had developed a relationship with the third respondent herein and she went along with him, leaving behind her children at tender age, therefore seeks production of her daughter. 3. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case has already been registered in Crime No.94 of 2026 for ‘woman missing’ and during the course of investigation, it came to light that Sangeetha (detenue) has eloped with the third respondent herein. 4. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed and let the investigation be continued in this regard and keep the petitioner informed of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis HCP No. 1458 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 the developments, if any. As and when the detenue Sangeetha, aged about 26 years, is secured, she may be produced before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, under initiation to the petitioner.
