Heard learned counsel Shri Sanket Bhalerao for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader Mrs.H.N.Jaipurkar for respondent Nos.1 to 3. 2. The petitioner working with respondent No.4 has approached this Court seeking a direction to respondents to grant benefit of regularization. The aforesaid benefit of regularization is claimed by the petitioner on the basis of decision of this Court dated 4.7.2019 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.15221 of 2017 and other connected petition. The aforesaid decision is on record at page No.19 (Annexure-A). 2026:BHC-NAG:11671-DB 2 6 wp5084.26.odt Learned counsel for the petitioner further relies upon Government Resolution dated 7.5.2024 issued by the Government of Maharashtra thereby granting such benefit to other similarly situated persons. In view of the aforesaid decision and the Government Resolution, the petitioner has approached this court claiming the aforesaid benefit of regularization. 3. Perusal of the petition reveals that the petitioner has already approached respondents by submitting a detailed representation pointing out the decision of this Court dated 4.7.2019 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.15221 of 2017 and other connected petition and Government Resolution dated 7.5.2024 on 11.5.2026. A copy of the aforesaid representation is at page No.49 (Annexure-F). 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after a passage of more than three months, the aforesaid representation is not yet decided by respondents. 5. In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with directions to respondent No.2 to decide the aforesaid representation dated 11.5.2026 within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of order this Court. The aforesaid decision shall be taken by respondent No.2 on its own merits and in accordance with law and more specifically on the basis of decision of this Court dated 4.7.2019 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.15221 of 2017 and other connected petition and the Government 3 6 wp5084.26.odt Resolution dated 7.5.2024 issued by the Government of Maharashtra. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
