No. 31609 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to issue patta in the name of Mayavan’s legal heirs i.e., Parvathi, Karthikeyan and Tamilselvan for the property in S.F.No.157/5 measuring an extent of 34 cents situated at Andampallam Village, Kilpennathur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, by considering the petitioner’s online application in 2025/0103/06/478894 dated 01.04.2025. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that seeking transfer of patta in respect of the aforesaid property, the petitioner submitted an online application on 01.04.2025 to the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Kilpennathur (II) Taluk, Tiruvannamalai (06) District and since the same is still under consideration, this writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief. 3. Mr. P. Elayarajkumar, learned Special Government Pleader, accepting notice for the official respondents, submitted that the fourth respondent will consider and pass orders on the petitioner’s online application dated 01.04.2025 within a period of eight weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. Notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with inasmuch https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the fourth respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's online application dated 01.04.2025, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing by issuing due notice to the petitioner, fifth respondent and other aggrieved persons, if any, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
