The petitioner states that its members were allotted shops by the third respondent. During the subsistence of the licence, the licences were terminated on the ground that new shops were to be constructed. The petitioner claims that its members are entitled to a refund of the licence amount, as the Government, under the aforesaid Government Order, had decided to waive the lease/rental amount during the Covid-19 pandemic. 4. According to the petitioner-Association, a representation dated 20.06.2026 was submitted seeking refund of the licence amount. The petitioner’s grievance is that the said representation has not been considered so far. 5.
