Bora, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K.K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. The petitioner, namely, Rakesh Kakati, has filed this application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, with prayer for pre-arrest bail, as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Baihata Chariali P.S. Case No. 56/2026 registered under Sections 140(3) of BNS. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he kidnapped the minor victim “X”. 4. I have considered the submissions at the Bar with circumspection. 5. I have also scrutinized the case diary. 6. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the FIR was lodged only on suspicion. The merits of this case are not brought on record, as investigation is still under progress. 7. It appears that anticipatory bail may be granted to the petitioner. 8. In the event of his arrest, the above-named petitioner, shall be enlarged on pre-arrest bail of Rs. 50,000/-(Rupees Fifty Thousand) only with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting authority with following condition: Page No.# 3/3 i) the petitioner shall appear before the I.O within 10 (ten) days and cooperate with the investigation, 9.
