The instant writ petition has been preferred by the petitioners for seeking the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR (Annexure no. 1 page 12 to 20) dated 21.03.2026 registered as Case Crime No. 132 of 2026 under Section 3 Section 5 read with Section 11 of Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act PS Bhagwanpur District Haridwar. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in Case Crime No. 132 of 2026 under Section 3 Section 5 read with Section 11 of Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act PS Bhagwanpur District Haridwar till the pendency of present petition. 4. After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to surrender before the court concerned, however, some protection may be given to him till he surrenders. 5. The State counsel has no objection. 6. In such view of the matter, instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned on or before 03.07.2026.
