Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years and 7 months and the witnesses who have already deposed do not inspire the confidence for further detention of the present petitioner. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary. 2 Learned advocate for the defacto-complainant has opposed the prayer for bail. I have assessed regarding the complicity of the accused as is appearing from the case diary. I find that there are number of witnesses who are independent witnesses and are not connected with any departments of the government. Total witnesses are 27 in this case. Learned advocate is directed to fix a schedule so that the independent witnesses are examined separately and on a priority basis. Let the aforesaid witnesses be completed within a period of 5 months. Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid period is over. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M) 145 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
