Government Advocate ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 10.04.2026. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that he preferred an appeal dated 10.04.2026 before the first respondent, challenging the order of rejection passed by the second respondent. However, despite the lapse of more than three months from the date of filing of the appeal, the same has not been disposed of and no effective action has been taken thereon. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the first respondent in considering and disposing of the appeal, the petitioner has approached this Court. 3. In response, Mr.Vineeth P.R., learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, submitted that the petitioner's appeal dated 10.04.2026 __________ Page2 of 5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 31130 of 2026 would be considered by the 1st respondent and appropriate orders would be passed thereon on merits and in accordance with law after within a period of six weeks. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent/ Revenue Divisional Officer to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 10.04.2026 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and affording him an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
