1. Heard Sri Upendra Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Muneshwar Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State.
2. The instant petition has been filed with the following prayers:
"i. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2, Board of Revenue Prayagraj/Allahabad to decide the second appeal No.1222 of 2015 Computerized No.A (20150203001222) Samar Singh and others Versus Srikant and others.
ii. Issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, so as secure the ends of justice or else, the petitioner shall suffer irreparably."
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the proceedings under Second Appeal No. 1222 of 2015 (Samar Singh and Ors. vs. Srikant and Ors.) is pending before the Board of Revenue, Allahabad, since 2015 since last 11 years and has not yet been decided. In such view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks direction for expeditious disposal of the said Second Appeal in a time-bound manner.

In such view of the matter, without adverting to the merits of the case of the petitioner the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the Board of Revenue, Allahabad, to proceed in the aforesaid Second Appeal as expeditiously as possible and decide the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
