In this petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs:
“a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ,
order or direction directing the 1st Respondent - Principal Secretary, Department of Medical Education, to consider the representation submitted by the Petitioner (Annexure - R) and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court, preferably within a period of one month; b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ,
order or direction directing the 2nd Respondent - College to constitute a duly constituted and unbiased Departmental Promotion Committee, excluding all persons against whom there exists a reasonable apprehension of bias, and to consider the candidature of the Petitioner for promotion to the post of Professor in accordance with law; c) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ,
order or direction quashing the recruitment process initiated pursuant to the advertisement dated 01/04/2026, in so far as it relates to the post of Professor in the Department of General Surgery, insofar as it affects the Petitioner; d) Grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for respondent No.1, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 4 and perused the material on record.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that her representation dated 16.04.2026 at Annexure - R submitted to

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23449 WP No. 12983 of 2026 respondents has not been considered so far by them nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition.
4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation.
5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider her representation dated 16.04.2026 at Annexure - R and pass appropriate order / take appropriate decision in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands
