The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has continuously on three occasions, threatened and intimidated the de facto complainant, harassed her sexually, and abused her with obscene words. Hence, the complaint. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and, upon instructions, submitted that the petitioner misbehaved with the victim by using inappropriate and abusive sexual words. Hence, he strongly opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also perused the records available. 6. The gravity of the allegations cannot be lightly ignored. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner continuously, on three occasions, threatened and https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 22604 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 sexually intimidated the de facto complainant, and considering the severe nature of the offences registered under Sections 11(4) and 12 of the POCSO Act, this Court is of the view that the petitioner does not deserve the grant of anticipatory bail.
