The petitioner claims to be the recorded co-sharer of a plot of land being Dag No.382 within Mouza-Prajabarh under Police Station Moyna, District-Purba Medinipur, along with his brothers and sisters. 2. The learned advocate, appearing for the petitioner, submits that several plots of land including the Dag No.382 were acquired vide L. A. Case No.120/75-76. But no compensation has been paid to the petitioner till date. The petitioner submitted a representation before the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Purba Medinipur, dated 14th January, 2026. 3. In course of hearing of this writ petition, the learned advocate, appearing for the petitioner, submits that the present grievance of the petitioner is that the brothers and sisters of the petitioner have received compensation, but no compensation has been paid to the petitioner till date. He further submits that no representation to such effect has been submitted to the concerned authority. He further submits that the petitioner be given liberty to submit a comprehensive representation before the 2 appropriate authority and the respondent authority be directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law. 4. Mr. De, learned Additional Government Pleader, does not oppose such prayer of the learned advocate for the petitioner. 5. In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the respective parties, WPA 6553 of 2026 is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a comprehensive representation before the appropriate authority ventilating his grievances. If such a representation is submitted, such authority shall consider and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, any other persons who may be affected by such decision and the reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner and others as expeditiously as possible, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order along with a copy of the representation permitted to be submitted pursuant to this order. 6. Parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of necessary formalities. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
