According to petitioner, he was engaged on contract through outsourcing agency in Government Post Graduate College, Pithoragarh for some time and thereafter he served in same college after change of its status as Campus College of Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora. On his request, petitioner was relieved by Director of concerned college in 2023. 3. Petitioner now wants to be re-engaged in same college, namely, Govt. Post Graduate College, Pithoragarh. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that petitioner was a contract employee, engaged through outsourcing, therefore he has no vested right of re-appointment. He, however, submits that if petitioner makes representation before the competent authority, then the same shall be looked at as per law and it shall be considered as per the prevailing Government Order. 2026:UHC:4138 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Principal of the concerned college.
