By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the indulgence of this Court for a direction to respondents to hold the election of Committee of Management/Governing Council of the petitioner’s society forthwith as per the mandate of the Constitution of India and mandate of the Act and Rules. 2. Petitioner is a Society registered under the provisions of The Uttarakhand Co-operative Societies Act, 2003. The contention so raised by petitioner before this Court is that since the term of petitioner Society has come to an end much earlier, the election of petitioner society is to be held. For that purpose, petitioner society sent requisite documents, along with the required fee, to respondent no.3-Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Kumaon Region, Almora. 2026:UHC:4195 2 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the present matter is squarely covered by the judgment and order passed by this Court on 22.05.2026 in WPMS No.1487 of 2026 Prathamesh Krishi Vikas Kendriya Sahkari Sangh Ltd. Vs. State of Uttarakhand and Others, and the present matter can also be decided in terms of the said judgment. 4. Learned counsel for respondents have no objection, if the present matter is decided in terms of the aforesaid judgment and order dated 22.05.2026. 5. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of judgment and order passed by this Court on 22.05.2026 in WPMS No.1487 of 2026 Prathamesh Krishi Vikas Kendriya Sahkari Sangh Ltd. Vs. State of Uttarakhand and Others. Petitioner- Society is directed to make fresh representation to respondent no.5 within 24 hours. If such a representation is, so moved, respondent no.5 shall decide the same by a speaking order, strictly in accordance with law, but positively prior to holding elections in other cooperative societies. 6.
