The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of his petition dated 15.12.2025. 3. The petitioner is the father of the third respondent. He states that the third respondent has forcibly evicted him from the dwelling house and is not providing him maintenance. Therefore, the petitioner filed a petition under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 4. The learned State Counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that the petitioner’s petition will be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.
In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s petition dated 15.12.2025 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
