When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that an objection petition had been received from one Chidambaram and that pending enquiry with reference to the said objections, the document was treated as a pending document. 3. When an objection petition is submitted by a third party, it is for the second respondent to expeditiously conduct an enquiry by summoning both the petitioner and the said objector and to pass appropriate orders, either registering the document if it is otherwise in order or passing orders to the contrary, if warranted, in accordance with law.
