The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's paternal grandfather was the absolute owner and in possession of the subject property by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 02.05.1950, and the revenue records stood in his name. After his demise, the petitioner's father succeeded to the property and continued in possession and enjoyment thereof. While so, the 5th and 6th respondents, having no right or interest over the property, got their names included in Patta No.519. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner's father submitted a representation/appeal dated 06.01.2016 before the 3rd respondent seeking appropriate correction of the revenue records.
