The present writ petition is filed with the following prayers:- "a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, directing the Respondent to process and dispose of the Petitioner's applications dated 24.03.2025 and the legal notice dated 27.04.2025 within a stipulate time frame, as requested in Annexure-A and Annexure-B; b) Direct the Respondent to grant the water connection and issue the Occupancy Certificate (OC) to the Petitioner without any further delay, C) Pass such other order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the application of the petitioner will be processed and if it is found that the petitioner has complied with all the requirements, the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13189 WP No. 27617 of 2025 necessary occupancy certificate and water connection will be provided. However, if the petitioner has not complied with the necessary requirements, then in that event, the needful will be done only after the petitioner complies with the necessary requirements, and not otherwise. 3. His submission is placed on record. 4. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent - Panchayath to consider the request of the petitioner in accordance with law and act accordingly.
