2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and another accused attacked the de facto complainant and snatched a sum of Rs.1,000/- from the de facto complainant and also threatened him and the public with dire consequences. Hence, the case. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the recovery was effected with A1 and the overt act is against A1 and this petitioner has been arrayed as A2. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the Petitioner. 4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the Respondent Police reiterated the prosecution case and strongly opposed the bail application on the ground that the petitioner has got three previous cases out of which, one case is under Section 302 IPC and one case similar in nature. Hence, he opposed the grant of bail to the Petitioner. 5. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions and perused the materials available on record. 6. CRL OP No. 21665 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side); from the above narration, even this Court is of the firm view that the petitioner is prone to recidivism and lacks the fear of law.
Therefore, as rightly contended by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, he would become threat to the society. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 07-08-2026 SHL To:
