The Tahsildar, Krishnagiri(05)Taluk, Krishnagiri(31) District. ..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents, particularly to the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the Petitioner’s application dated 10.06.2026 seeking sub division of the property situated at Agasipalli Village, Krishnagiri District, Comprised in Survey No. 515/1D, 584/1B and covered under Patta Nos.1106 and 1111, pursuant to the registered Settlement Deed bearing Document No.4292 of 2025 dated 05.12.2025,registered on the file of the Joint Sub Registrar-II, Krishangiri, and Consequently effect necessary sub division and issue a separate patta in the Petitioner’s name in respect of his lawful share in the said property, after conducting due enquiry and providing an opportunity to all necessary parties. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an application dated 10.06.2026 before the respondents seeking sub division of the property situated at Agasipalli Village, Krishnagiri District, Comprised in Survey No. 515/1D, 584/1B and covered under Patta Nos.1106 and 1111, pursuant to the registered Settlement Deed bearing Document No.4292 of 2025 dated 05.12.2025, registered on the file of the Joint Sub Registrar-II, Krishangiri, and Consequently effect necessary sub division and issue a separate patta in the Petitioner’s name in respect of his lawful share in the said property, after conducting due enquiry and providing an opportunity to all necessary parties. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 10.06.2026, after issuing due notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
