Md. Wasim Akram, Ms. Sabina Parveen ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Avishek Sinha Mr. Aritra Bhattacharya ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the instant case for the alleged recovery of 22.4 Kgs of Ganja, and he is in custody for nine months. The charge-sheet has been submitted and charge has already been framed further witnesses action has already started. Learned advocate for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Having considered that the petitioner is in custody for nine months and she is a lady and taking into account the quantum of recovery as also the period of detention, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. 2 Petitioner, namely, Mamani Halder @ Mamani Piyada will furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) each with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each. One of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned Additional District Judge, 3rd Court, under NDPS Act Howrah. If on bail, petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of Howrah without the permission of learned Special Court. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 74 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
