THIS APPEAL COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCILIATION ORDER IS PASSED: 3 CONCILIATION ORDER A joint memo is filed in which it is stated as follows: “The MFA filed against the Judgment and Award in M.V.C.1505/2016 on the File of the MACT, SRIRANGAPATTNA has been referred to this Lok Adalat by the Hon’ble High Court U/S.20 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. The parties to the appeal have settled their claim before the Lok Adalat on the following terms: The Appellant/s – Claimant/s has/have agreed to receive and Respondent – ROYAL SUNDARAM GEN. INS. CO. LTD., has agreed to pay a lump-sum of Rs.1,20,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Thousand Only), in addition to what has been awarded by the Tribunal, in full and final settlement of the claim. The Respondent ROYAL SUNDARAM GEN. INS. CO. LTD., has agreed to deposit the said amount, before the Tribunal, within six weeks from the date of preparation of award failing which the said amount shall carry interest at 9% p.a. from the date of default, till the date of deposit. The parties are not entitled for any cost. The parties to this appeal have set their hands to this settlement before the Lok Adalat in the presence of Conciliators on this 14.03.2026 at Bengaluru Bench.” 2. The memo is accepted and in view of the settlement, this appeal is disposed of. It is directed that the award be prepared no later than two months from today. The amount awarded by the Tribunal is permitted to be withdrawn by the claimant forthwith as per law.
