When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Raguvaran Gopalan, learned Counsel for the respondent would produce a cheque in the name of the petitioner herein namely, L.Vanaja, for a total sum of Rs.92,253/-, drawn on Indian Bank, Esplanade branch, Chennai bearing No.016826, dated 22.08.2026. The original cheque, dated 22.08.2026 is handed over to the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 3. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
