After addressing the arguments for sometime, counsel for the petitioner has filed the memo. Memo reads as under: "The petitioner has challenged by way of this petition the concurrent order of conviction whereby he was sentenced to pay fine of Rs.1,55,000/-. Out of the said fine amount the petitioner has deposited 50% of the same during the suspension of sentence and bail. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24027 CRL.RP No. 1542 of 2022 The remaining 50% amount i.e., 77,500/- the petitioner agrees to pay in three installments of Rs.25,834/- each starting from 25th of May, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Respondent served with the notice and remained absent. 3. Placing the memo on record, petition stands disposed off. 4. Amount in deposit is ordered to be withdrawn by the complainant under due identification. 5. It is made clear that any one of the installment amount as agreed the memo is not paid, petitioner shall undergo imprisonment as ordered by the Trial Magistrate confirmed by the First Appellate Court.
