State of Uttarakhand …Respondent Hon’ble Ashish Naithani, J. Mr. Abhishek Verma, learned counsel for the Applicant. 2. Mr. Chitrarth Kandpal, learned Brief Holder, for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. In the High Court of Uttarakhand, the present case arises from Bail Application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail for the Applicant – Sonu Verma, who has been accused in FIR No.282 of 2025, under Sections 103 (1) and 61 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station Kunda, District Udham Udham Singh Nagar. 4. Learned counsel for the Applicant submits the Applicant has been falsely implicated in the present matter. He further submits that there is a delay in lodging the FIR, and the Applicant has no previous criminal history and the Applicant has been languishing in jail since 10.09.2025. 5. Learned State Counsel has vehemently opposed the bail application of the Applicant. 6. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the Applicant has made out a case for bail. 7. Accordingly, bail application is allowed. It is directed that the Applicant - Sonu Verma, who has been accused in FIR No.282 of 2025, under Sections 103 (1) and 61 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station Kunda, District Udham Udham Singh Nagar, be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond with two reliable sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned court.
