The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to place the petitioner’s petition dated 24.07.2026 before the Appeal Committee for issuance of a completion certificate in terms of the Development Control Rules. 3. The petitioner obtained planning permission on 24.08.2010 for construction of a multi-storeyed building. According to the petitioner, the building was constructed in accordance with the sanctioned plan. The petitioner therefore applied for a completion certificate. The application was rejected by the second respondent, against which the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent. The first respondent also rejected the application. 4. Thereafter, the petitioner rectified the defects and submitted a fresh petition dated 24.07.2026 before the first respondent seeking reconsideration. The petitioner’s grievance is that the said petition has not yet been considered. 5. Learned State Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner’s petition dated 24.07.2026 would be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 6. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to place the petitioner’s petition dated 24.07.2026 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 32763 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 before the Appeal Committee within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the petition, the Appeal Committee shall consider and dispose of the same within two weeks thereafter, in accordance with law. 7.
