The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is alleged to have refused to pay money after having tiffin in the pushcart run by the defacto complainant and also abused and assaulted the defacto complainant. Hence, the case. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner was arrested and still in judicial custody since 08.07.2026 and the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the Petitioner. 4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the Respondent Police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner along with his friends, refused to pay money to the defacto complainant after having tiffin in the pushcart. He further submitted that the petitioner has abused and assaulted the defacto complainant. The petitioner is having three previous cases which are similar in nature pending against him. Hence, he opposed the grant of bail to the Petitioner. 5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 23018 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 6. Considering the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent and the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, and that the petitioner is having three previous cases of similar nature pending against him and the petitioner was arrested only on 08.07.2026 and the fact that the investigation is still pending, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 7.
