The petitioner claims that his correct name is ‘Raman Kumar Sahu’ which has erroneously been mentioned as ‘Raman Sahu’ in the school mark sheets. Likewise, the petitioner claims that his mother’s name is Vimla Sahu which also has erroneously been mentioned as ‘Vimala Sahu’ in the school marksheets. 3. By way of this Petition, the petitioner prays for the following reliefs:- 10.1. That, the records pertaining to the case of the petitioner, may be kindly called for the kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court. 10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly direct the respondent authorities to decide the representation preferred by the petitioner, in the interest of justice. 10.3. That any other relief which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case. 4. Facts of the case in a nutshell are that the petitioner is a student who started his studies since session 2007-2008 from Major Shri Krishna Sahgal Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Yadunandan Nagar, Tifra, Bilaspur, C.G. The name of the petitioner was recorded in K.G. I class as Raman Kumar Sahu, which is in fact his correct name and the name of his mother was recorded as Vimla Sahu which is in fact her correct name. But in the year 2010- 2011, the name of petitioner was wrongly recorded as Raman Sahu and his mother name was also recorded wrongly as Vimala Sahu, such error happened when petitioner changed his school to R.N.M. Public School, Yadunanadan Nagar Tifra, Bilaspur, (C.G.) for class 1 in year 2010 – 2011. Thereafter, in the year 2011-2012, name of petitioner and his mother is wrongly entered as Raman Sahu and Vimala Sahu. In the year 2012-2013, in class 3 report card, the name of petitioner is wrongly entered as Raman Sahu. In the year 2013-2014 in class 4 report card, the name of petitioner is wrongly entered as Raman Sahu. In year 2014-2015 in class 5 3 report card, the name of petitioner was wrongly entered as Raman Sahu. Again in the year 2015-2016 in class 6 report card, the name of petitioner was wrongly entered as Raman Sahu. In the year 2016-2017 in class 7 report card, the name of petitioner was again wrongly entered as Raman Sahu. In the year 2017- 2018 in class 8 report card, the name of petitioner was wrongly entered as Raman Sahu. In the year 2018-2019 in class 9 report card, the name of petitioner is wrongly entered as Raman Sahu. In the year 2019-2020, in class 10 report card, the name of petitioner is wrongly entered as Raman Sahu and his mother’s name is wrongly entered as Vimala Sahu. In the year 2020-2021 in class 11 report card, the name of petitioner is wrongly entered as Raman Sahu and his mother’s name is wrongly entered as Vimala Sahu. Thereafter, in the year 2021- 2022 in class 12 report card, the name of petitioner is wrongly entered as Raman Sahu and his mother’s name is wrongly entered as Vimala Sahu. At the expense of repitition, it is stated that the correct name of the petitioner is ‘Raman Kumar Sahu’ whereas in several mark sheets his name has been entered wrongly as Raman Sahu and the correct name of the mother of the petitioner is Vimla Sahu but wrongly in many of the school mark sheets, the name of the petitioner’s mother has been entered as Vimala Sahu. The petitioner being aggrieved by the errors in the mark sheets preferred his representation before the School Authorities and several government authorities and along with the said representations, the petitioner has submitted the relevant documents but still the grievance of the petitioner has not been decided yet. In an identical writ petition, the Hon'ble Court had directed the respondent authorities to decide the application / representation of the petitioner therein. Hence this Petition. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already filed a 4 representation (Annexure P/3) before the respondent authorities to mention the correct name of petitioner i.e. ‘Raman Kumar Sahu’ in the school marksheets of the petitioner which has erroneously been mentioned as ‘Raman Sahu’ and also to mention correct name of petitioner’s mother i.e. ‘Vimla Sahu’ which also has erroneously been mentioned as ‘Vimala Sahu’ in the school marksheets. However, till date the said representation has not yet been decided by the authorities concerned as such, the petitioner is facing difficulties in his prospective career. He submits that this Writ Petition may be disposed of directing the respondent authorities to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner in this regard as expeditiously as possible in a time bound manner. 6. Learned counsel for Respondent No.3 submits that no representation of the petitioner in this regard has been filed to the office of Respondent No.3 as such, he is unable to submit anything. 7. In the present case, the petitioner has moved a representation (Annexure P/3) before the State authorities for correction of his and his mother’s name in the school marksheets which according to the petitioner has not yet been decided. 8. The name of a candidate and his mother’s in the marksheet is sometimes used for verification purposes before particular fora and looking to the circumstances in the present case, it might affect the petitioner’s prospective future, therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to file a representation in this regard within a period of 20 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order before appropriate authority of respondents and in turn, the said authorities shall consider and decide the said representation within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of such representation by passing a reasoned and speaking 5 order, in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly. 9. With the aforesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 10. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case and the authorities concerned shall decide the representation of the petitioner without being influenced by any observations made herein above.
