The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 26.06.2026 with regard to the issuance of legal heirship certificate. 3. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed after issuing notice to petitioner and any other interested parties, within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 26.06.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner and any other interested persons within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of web copy of this order, without waiting for receipt of a certified copy thereof.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondents to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law. 5.
