ORDER Date : 15-05-2026 Heard Mr. S.C. Biswas, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. N. Goswami, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for all the respondents. On 13.05.2026, Mr. Goswami was requested to obtain instruction as to whether any case has been registered in terms of the direction given in the
Order dated 26.02.2026. Today, Mr. Goswami has submitted that in terms of the direction given by the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Barpeta, the same has been registered as Barpeta Road Police Station Case no. 51/2026 under Section 109[1]/119[1]/119[2]/296/351[3]/61[1][a]/74/78/79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the case is presently under investigation. In view of the above fact that the case has been registered, the grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition is found to have been redressed. In view of the same, the writ petition stands closed.
