The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to grant an FL-2 licence to the petitioner Club, namely, CAF 69 Sports Club, situated at Oragadam Main Road, Padappai, Kancheepuram District. 3. The petitioner submits that it is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act and has applied for an FL-2 licence to meet the requirements of its members. According to the petitioner, though the application was submitted on 19.07.2023, no orders have been passed so far. 4. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner’s application dated 19.07.2023 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
