2. The case of the prosecution is that the de facto complainant is the sister of the petitioner. On 03.06.2026, when the de facto complainant tried to call her deceased father, he was unreachable. Subsequently found him dead with injuries in his neck and head. Hence, the case. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and that he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the Petitioner. 4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the Respondent Police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that this is a case of patricide. 6.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case; taking note of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side); considering the totality of the circumstances, and the nature of allegation levelled against this petitioner and as rightly contended by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that investigation is still pending, this Court is of the firm view that it is not appropriate to consider the bail application at this stage. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 07-08-2026 SHL To:
