Ganguly, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. Gogoi, learned Standing counsel, Health and Family Welfare Department. 2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to permit the petitioner to appear for the Electrotherapy-II 4th Semester midterm examination in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital and also to permit the petitioner to submit the application to appear in 7th Semester Final Examination which is scheduled from 26.05.2026. 3. In deference to the order of this Court dated 08.05.2026, Mr. B. Gogoi, learned Standing counsel, Health and Family Welfare Department, by placing the copy of the instruction dated 13.05.2026, submits that the petitioner has been allowed to appear for the Electrotherapy-II 4th Semester mid term examination in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) which will be held on 18.05.2026 at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, Jorhat. If the petitioner appears in the examination on 18.05.2026 his marks/score will be sent to the University to declare the result of 4th Semester and if he passed all the subjects of 4th Semester, he will be eligible to appear in the 7th Semester examination, which will commence from 26.05.2026. 4. Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the communication as well as as agreed to by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is closed as no further consideration is required to be made in the present proceedings as the grievance of the Page No.# 3/3 petitioner to allow him to appear in the 4th Semester examination has been allowed, which is scheduled to be held on 18.05.2026. 5. Needless to observe that in the event the petitioner appears in the 4th Semester examination on 18.05.2026, the authorises shall take appropriate steps for declaration of result so as to enable the petitioner to appear for the 7th Semester, in the event he clears the 4th Semester examination. 6.
