The petitioners seek a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action against the fifth respondent on the basis of their complaint dated 08.06.2026. 3. The petitioners claim to be senior citizens. Their grievance is that the fifth respondent, who is a stranger to the property, has allegedly attempted to dispossess them from their house. Therefore, the petitioners submitted a https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.31979 of 2026 Page Nos.3/4 representation dated 08.06.2026 to respondents 1 to 4, seeking action under Rule 20 of the Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009. 4. The petitioners’ grievance is that the said representation has not been considered so far. 5. The learned State Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the petitioners’ representation would be considered in accordance with law within the time to be fixed by this Court. 6. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 08.06.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
