The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police strongly objected the application for modification. 3. Considering the submissions made on either sides and the nature of the offence, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.OP.No.18245 of 2026 dated 14.07.2026. Accordingly, the condition that “the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Tindivanam, on condition that the petitioners shall execute a bond each for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties each, for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, and on further conditions: ” is modified to the effect that “the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Tindivanam, on condition that the petitioners shall execute a bond each for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties each, for a like sum to the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL MP No. 15471 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, and on further conditions”.
