On perusal of records, it is found that the petitioner is one of the accused in C.C.No.209 of 2025 on the file of the Learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, and the second respondent is the defacto complainant. 3. Pending this criminal original petition, this court referred the matter for mediation. On completion of mediation, Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras has sent a report dated 19.08.2026 stating that during mediation process, the parties arrived at a settlement between them vide Settlement Agreement dated 18.08.2026, which has been signed by the petitioner and the second respondent and also their counsel. 4. Therefore, this criminal original petition can be allowed. Accordingly, the entire proceedings pending in C.C.No.209 of 2025 on the file of the Learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, is quashed in respect of the petitioner.
