JUSTICE SASHIKANTA MISHRA ORDER_ 20.01.2026
1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. The petitioners are aggrieved by the order dated 21.11.2025 passed by the Tahasildar, Baripada in Mutation Case No. 4903 of
2025. It is submitted that though the petitioners were parties, yet no notice of the case was ever issued or served upon them, as evident from the records and the order sheet, which does not reveal notice being served upon the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioners have moved the Tahasildar by filing an application for cancelling (recalling) the order passed in the mutation case and to grant opportunity of hearing. No decision has been taken on such application.
3. The writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the Tahasildar, Baripada to consider the application submitted by the petitioners for recall of the order in accordance with law and to pass
Order No.
1. p. 2 appropriate order. If the Tahasildar is satisfied that the principles of natural justice was violated, he shall allow the application and re- hear the matter after granting an opportunity of hearing to all concerned. The matter shall be disposed of within two months from today.
