Sivavarthanan Special Government Pleader ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 05.03.2021 and 10.07.2026. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner submitted representations dated 05.03.2021 and 10.07.2026 to the first respondent, requesting to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.47/1, to an extent of 0.02 cents situated in Thittagudi, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, in the light of G.O.(Ms) No.480, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Land Disposal Wing [L.D.1(2)] Department, dated 11.09.2020. However, the same has not been considered till date. In response, Mr.M.Sivavarthanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents submitted that the petitioner's representations dated 05.03.2021 and 10.07.2026 would be considered by the second respondent, who is the competent authority, and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law within a period of six weeks. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the second respondent/ Revenue Tahsildar, Thittagudi Taluk, to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 05.03.2021 and 10.07.2026 seeking for issuance of patta, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and affording him an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
