JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, though the limited prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.2864/2023 as expeditiously as possible, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an application under Rule 153 of the Karnataka Civil Rules of Practice, 1967 and Article 228 of the Constitution of India R/w. Section 151 CPC at Annexure-J has been filed by the petitioner, which is pending consideration before the Trial Court, which has posted the suit on 06.04.2026 and the present petition may be disposed of by directing the Trial Court to - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:15902 WP No. 4161 of 2026 pass appropriate orders on the said application within a stipulated time frame. 2. The said submission is placed on record. 3. Accordingly, the Trial Court, before whom the aforesaid application at Annexure-J filed in O.S.No.2864/2023 is pending, is directed to dispose of the said application, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the next date of hearing of the suit i.e., 06.04.2026. 4. The parties are directed to co-operate with the Trial Court for expeditious disposal of the application. 5. All rival contentions on all aspects of the matter are kept/left open and no opinion is expressed on merits/demerits of the rival contentions. 6.
